The centre caters for 63 people and runs many person-centered activities, including IT, arts, crafts, cookery and independent living skills.
In addition, a community resource centre was opened in April 2010 on Spencer Street in Castlebar. The centre provides close support services for 14 school-leavers and assists them in accessing new activities in the local community.
There is also a supported accommodation service which caters for nine people at two sites in the town. In addition, RehabCare’s outreach service provides support to four adults in their own homes. The service, which supports people in activities such as budgeting, shopping, attending hospital appointments, etc., continues to expand and currently provides support to 18 people.
